Everyday Glam

This is probably my most go to glam look, especially for more casual events or when I am just really feeling myself.  This photo is from my brother-in-law’s confirmation and this was the perfect balance of subtle glam.IMG_1532

I primed with my NYX Angel Veil primer.  This is perfect for people who have texture skin but aren’t really oily.  This is also a pretty good dupe for the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer and for $15.99 it isn’t that bad either.

For my brows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in the Ebony.  I have such a love/hate relationship with this shade because sometimes it’s too light and other days it’s perfect.

Now to the eyes, I used my Tarte Clay Play Volume 1 Palette to create this look.  I used the shade journey all of my lid, stone in my crease and solstice on my lid.  Another great tarte product is the Tarteist Double Take Liquid/Pencil Liner.  It takes forever to come off and that is most definitely what we all need in our lives.  Finally, I used my Smashbox Indecent Exposure Mascara.  I have no idea if the sell this anymore, but I found it at TJ Maxx for around $6 and it is AMAZING.  The only downside to this mascara is that it isn’t waterproof, but I will still use it everyday because I love it so much.

On my face, I used my Make Up Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Stick.  I used the shade 118 = Y325.  This is a Medium coverage foundation but you can build it up to Medium-Full coverage.  If you have dry skin, I absolutely recommend this because it is so hydrated and it dries with a natural finish.  For concealer, I used the Tarte Shape Tape concealer in the shade light neutral which I know is WAY to light for me, but it worked that night.

To contour, I used the Fenty Beuaty Match Stick Matte Skinstick in the shade Amber.  This is another product that I have a love/hate relationship with.  I love this shade, it is absolutely the perfect contour shade, however it is sooooo hard to blend.  When I try to blend this with a beauty sponge, I feel like my sponge takes all the product off of my face, but when I blend it with my brush it works, but you have to make sure your foundation has COMPLETELY dried or else, bye bye foundation.

For highlight, I used the MorphexBretman Rock Babe in Paradise Highlighting palette.  I am going to do a full review on this soon, but I used the shade vagaytion and I love it! For blush, I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in the Paaarty and finally for lips, I used the Huda Beauty Lip Contour Kit in the shade Muse.

So that’s it.  Let me know if you want a video tutorial on this look, but until then ciao!
